Eye Examinations
Determining refractive errors (eyeglass prescriptions) are only one part
of an eye examination. Disease screening tests, such as intraocular
pressures and visual fields, are equally important to routine eye care.
Cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma are just a few of the
conditions checked during the health assessment of your eyes.
 Contact Lens Fitting/Follow-up
All types of contact lenses are available; colors for fun,
torics for astigmatism, and bifocals for simultaneous near and far
vision. Follow-up appointments are essential to successful contact lens
wear. Included with contact lens fittings are 90 days of follow-up care.
Specialty lenses can only be evaluated by the doctor when “on” the eye.
Treatment of Eye Diseases or Minor Injuries
Red, scratchy, watery, itchy, irritated or painful eyes are diagnosed
and treated. Treatment may include prescribing medication for dryness,
infections, allergies, or inflammation of your eyes. Minor injuries,
such as removal of foreign bodies, or treatment of scratched corneas are
performed in office. Referrals are made for more serious eye injuries.
Refractive Surgery Consultations
Ask Dr. Lodl or Dr.
Culbertson about LASIK and other refractive surgeries. They will
evaluate your candidacy and make appropriate referrals to eye surgeons,
after answering your questions and discussing results with you.
Post-operative care is available with Dr. Lodl or with Dr. Culbertson.

or that backup pair of glasses.

color-changing technologically advanced lenses. Progressive no-lines,
computer terminal lenses, and occupational lenses are available to
suit your needs.
Repair
Our experienced opticians can often salvage glasses in emergencies.
